I Like It...

Quiet afternoon like this do not come very often for me. Baby is taking his nap. I have my coffee and listening to my Ipod, and flipping the magazines. This is what I need most and it is weekend and the sun is shining...

For once, I really appreciate my status now as a stay-at-home mum, housewife, and a wife!

Update, three months old

Jinc is now three months old.

Just had his second set of vaccination two days ago. He was alright, he cried a little, but had been grumpy for the whole day. I am not too worry about that. No temperature though, thank God.

He is now able to lift his head and shoulder for longer period of time. When I put him to his tummy, he will be able to turn and does a 'half' roll over, so cute! He is ever so curious with the surroundings and can't stop exploring.

He sleeps less during afternoon naps, and love to play with toys most of the time. We have got so many toys given by friends and I am glad that we have so many toys for him to play with. As he discovers his own fingers and feet, I think his current favourite toy would be his own fingers. He also loves to put them in his mouth and taste them. Sometimes, he is literally drooling and dribbling and I let him wear a bib most of the time.

He has grown so much compared to last month. He is taking about 6-7 oz during each feed, he now wears a size 3 nappy, and can fit in most of the 3-6months old clothes. He is now 6.3kg (13Ibs14)

He coos a lot too, and every time I speak on the phone with my mum and dad, he joins us and just cannot stop 'talking'. I am sure he is going to be a little chatty boy.

At this stage, I totally love it as a stay-at-home mum and would seriously consider to give up work!

It's a super hot day...

..and I am feeling super sexy!

Wow, it is burning hot in Britain and for a moment, I thought I was in Spain! Love the hot weather so much and for the first time this year, I am wearing shorts at home with T's. I feel so light. Today is also the day that I can finally fit into my pre-pregnancy skinny jeans. I feel amazing!

So, this morning, I was wearing the skinny jeans and pushing the pram and walked to Tesco. It was a very short walking distance but I really enjoyed it.

I feel truly amazing. I can finally fit into my favourite pair of skinny jeans. I wore the jeans all the time pre-pregnancy. Now, I can wear it again, and see, I have got a baby too!

Jinc is three months old tomorrow (officially). He is going to have his second set of vaccinations tomorrow too. Hope things are as fine as before.

Baby gifts

We received lots of gift when Jinc was born. It is a shame that I did not record all the gifts, but I did send out Thank cards to all those who sent us lovely gifts.

Among the gifts are sets of bibs, lots of babygros and some even up to 18-month old of size! Lots of clothes and booties, some photo frames and some books!

Jinc is a very popular baby!

It is a myth!

Recently, a friend back home who is a mum of two, going to be three soon mentioned that Jinc has very dark complexion. I said I am totally fine and I really do not mind my boy to have dark skin. Then she continued to ask me whether I had coffee during my pregnancy with Jinc. My answer was a solid 'yes' and I had decaffeinated coffee throughout, even until now, I stick to decaf coffee. She naively told me that just because I had coffee during my pregnancy, and now I am having a baby with dark complexion.

Oh well, I nearly tell her that actually, I sun-tanned myself when I was pregnant with Jinc!

Gugu Aa Gaga ...

Went to the baby clinic this morning, and had Jinc checked and weighed..he is now 5.66kg (12.48Ib), at 10 weeks old! I am so pleased. He is doing really fine, and a very happy baby. Apart from that he has got very dry skin on both his wrists. Got some prescriptions for cream to apply on his very dry skin, and special care bath shampoo. Hope things improve when I start using all the prescribed products..

Jinc is a talkative baby. He is making lots of baby sound and when I talk to him, he replied. Although I do not understand his baby language, but I know, he understands me. What a cute stage and I think he will be a chatty little boy when he grows a bit older, just like his daddy!

My sleeping baby...

Jinc is so wonderful these days. He sleeps through the night, as in 6 to 7 hours in a night. I am so lucky! I got plenty of sleeps as well. Then he would normally wake up at about 8am or 9am for his breakfast. After the morning feed, he goes back to sleep for another two to three hours, and normally wakes up at eleven-ish.

I think Jinc is not a morning person, just like daddy!

At home with my baby...

It rains a lot these days, typical spring day!

I am so getting used to staying at home with just my baby. Time flies, it is like every three hours, i am feeding, then, I am doing the nappy change, then I play with the baby, then I try to make him sleep. It is so typical and I am now starting to establish a routine, and so does the baby.

Routine is good!

A pool of bibs...

Baby bibs...Jinc has got so many, and he can wear a different one every day for one whole month without repeating the same design.

Most of the bibs are gifts from friends and I only bought a set of 7pcs basic bibs from Mothercare, the rest come in handy...

Of all the bibs, I really like the extra-large ones without the velcro. They are from Matalan. I love its size which means I can double use it as a small cloth too. The round collar without velcro is so easy to slip on to Jinc and it is easy to take off too. For me, the velcro ones have got the zap-on noise which annoys my Jinc every time I take the bibs off. Of course, some from Marks & Spencers with button on the sides are really practical as well. Unfortunately, those are of newborn sizes and Jinc out grows them too very quickly. Of all the bibs, the set from Next has got the softest cotton and best designs...

Look like I am writing a bib review!!!

'Day Off'

It was Bank Holiday Monday yesterday, Sugar was not working. We thought we would go out for some shopping but Sugar was too lazy to go out. In the end, he agreed to stay at home with baby Jinc while I got to go out with my girl friend.

That was a much needed outing! Since baby Jinc arrives, I have never had the chance to go out on my own, without bring him. This time, I felt like the same old me again. Shopping with a girl friend, a chat over coffee and I had a great time.

Arrived home, Sugar was so sweet, I spent my time playing with baby Jinc while he cooked dinner, and he even did all the washing up after dinner!

I feel so loved and Sugar is the best husband in the world! What more can I ask for??
