The grain of rice....

This is still the very early stage of my pregnancy. At this stage (according to books and websites that I have read), the embryo is not yet a fetus. The embryo is strictly only three weeks even though gestational age is five weeks. It is said that the embryo is still very tiny, about the size of a grain of rice.

The early signs of pregnancy include nausea, tender breasts, feeling tired easily, headache, the need to urine more frequently and difficulty falling asleep. I have some of the symptoms, but no sickness at all. I begin to feel that my breasts are very tender. I eat like normal, and I tend to feel hungry more easily, and have bigger portion on every meals.

My 1st appointment with a midwife is booked on 14th July 2009. I just can't wait to go have a chat and find out more. But before all these routine check-ups and baby matters, a holiday to Ibiza comes first. We are going on the 6th of July, and this is going to be the very first flight for my little tiny baby!!!

Early Joy!

In the picture is Baby Holly, at three weeks old. Becky, a friend has given birth to this beautiful angel. Baby Holly has long fingers, very adorable!

I am at my very early pregnancy. 5 weeks to be exact!

I do not know what to expect. I know I have got lots to learn. I have also bought some pregnancy magazines, browse the internet to find out as much information as possible.

This is such an exciting stage, yet worrying. I am also getting paranoid. I googled every single thing that I plan to eat to make sure it is ok to take those food during early pregnancy. I am being very careful. I believe every 1st time mum-to-be would act like this. I also think that this is completely normal.

Every day, i read about the week-by-week growth of the baby, and analyse the changes that take place in my body. Until today, I have yet to experience the so-called morning sickness. No sickness at all, and I can eat really well.

I am very happy, every day...

It's all positive!

I went to my GP this morning, and it is confirmed now I am pregnant!

I still can't believe it!

We have been trying for 8 cycles, and we have also booked a holiday to Ibiza in July, hoping to do more 'baby-dancing'. Now, I am going to Ibiza with my baby!

I can't believe it, God is good to me!!

Sugar is very excited about the news and he has already started to act like a dad, like as if he is really the man in the house now. We have yet to spread the news to friends and family. I want to keep the news for a bit and although I cannot wait to share the news with my good friends, I still think that I need to keep this piece of good news until I am 'very confirmed'!!

Oh, this is such a special moment for us, it is life-changing, it is completely a dream comes true for us.

From today onwards, I know I have to really behave myself and eat healthily.

Love is ...random.

Today,
I said 'i love you' to Sugar many times.
I just love to see his expression whenever I told him 'I love you'. Sometimes he got really annoyed when I said that too many times and I insisted that he replied with the same line.

me : dear, i love you
sugar: i love you too
me: i love you
sugar: i love you too
me : i love you very much
sugar: i love you too
me: dear, today i love you very much
sugar: i love you too
me: dear, i said i love you, how about you
sugar: i love you too
me: i love you, can
sugar: i love you too
me: ...

annoying?
I think Sugar has this lack of creativity in saying 'I love you'.

Bluebelle~

Bluebelles in the garden, so lovely.

Sugar and I found a house, and we are planning to move.
We want a nice lounge that Sugar can put a 42" flat screen, and his reclining TV chair, and I want a walk-in wardrobe. I want a big bathroom so that I can display my collection of rubber duckies. Besides, a small and decent garden will be just perfect. I thought I would love to have an organic patch...

The house we saw is a very small two-beds, so we are not too sure now. It is at the location that we both love, and it is also the only choice that we can afford at this moment. It is such a tough decision...

With the two-beds, we would have no guest rooms and nursery!

June is a great month to....

June is a good month to sit back and relax for awhile. The sun is shinning and every one is happy. I am having a big appetite these days and fancy a barbecue. June is also a good month to enjoy light meals outdoors, sitting under the big umbrella, sipping cocktails and get sweaty.

I managed to lose some weight in April, May and I thought I would be determined to work hard towards the bikini-ready body for the summer. Oh, I have given up.

June is also a good month to plan for a holiday.

Now, what's for dinner tonight?
