The twelve-month vaccinations

At the GP surgery waiting for her turn...

Took Lily-May to her twelve-month vaccination this afternoon. Oh my, she was given three jabs:

• Hib/Men C booster. Given as a single jab containing meningitis C, third dose and Hib, fourth dose.
• MMR (measles, mumps and rubella), given as a single jab
• Pneumococcal infection, third dose

She was so brave, she started to cry when the third jab was given, and then I comforted her and showed her some toys to distract her. She stopped and back to her old self again when we got back to the car.

Well, at least now there will be no more jabs until she starts pre-school.
