Zulily

Look what I have found browsing the internet... It is Zulily, a children fashion (well, mostly children) website. This is so cool, and very irresistible too!

A friend's studio

A good friend, Theresa, her studio is opening soon! So happy for her!

She is a photographer and she is a mom of two boys! I wonder how she did it, juggling between family and setting up her own studio? Can't wait to meet up with her and hear her story!

Check out her website, Theresa Furey Photography for fabulous photography works! We are thinking to do a family portrait by the end of this year...

World Breastfeeding Week

This week is World Breastfeeding Week. It is a time to celebrate breastfeeding! As a mom of two, am doing it to both of my children. When it was with Jinc, I got pregnant again when he was only about six months old, so I stopped breastfeed him.

Lily May is fifteen months old, and I am still breastfeeding her.I am so proud that I am still breastfeeding her at this stage. I love how she loves my breasts before bed, and I love it every time she tries to pull my shirt and looking for my breasts!

For all the breastfeeding mums out there, happy breastfeeding! Well done!

Mini Chopper...

I am thinking to get myself a mini chopper. I will use it to do mince pork, to chop onions or garlic, to chop herbs, to do pesto sauce, to chop vegetables, etc. Just so many uses, and I certainly need one.

Been looking around at Amazon, and read some good reviews too. Well, I am so going to get one now!

You can get one online too, they are inexpensive and very useful in the kitchen!

I love points!

Pic shown a cute cuddly little bean puppy. It comes in a nice blue bag too. Got it by collecting points on the packaging of Andrex toilet rolls. We have been using Andrex for quite some time, and it is such a bonus to get this sort of rewards by collecting points.

I love collecting points in exchange for free promotional items. Over the years, I had participated in many loyalty point programmes and got myself items such as coffee mugs, eco bags, note pads, bowls, spoons, milk jar, and many more!

Points collecting can get quite addictive, especially there are nice little items that are not available for purchase!

Trip Advisor

I am sure every one heard of Trip Advisor, and browse the site and read reviews when one is planning for a holiday. Or, it is quite an interesting site to browse, I love reading reviews from other travelers.

Well, this is my favourite travel site. I joined it in 2009. Besides reading reviews from other travelers I also contribute reviews. I love to see that my reviews have earned helpful votes, and I hope to be able to contribute more reviews of places I have visited.

InThe Night Garden Live 2012

This year, we are going to see In The Night Garden Live again. The good news is, they have it in Birmingham, on September. So, we are going as a family of four.

We went to see it for the first time last year. It was fantastic, Jinc was so happy and he screamed when he saw Iggle Piggle! This year, we are bringing Lily May as she loves Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka!

I just can't wait!!

Kodak Gallery is closing!

I am using Kodak Gallery to store some of my pictures and to share them online. Unfortunately, it is closing (permanently) on 2nd of July.

It's time to store my pictures online, elsewhere, besides Boots Photo which I currently still use.

Love 'HomeSense'

Simply love HomeSense. We have a HomeSense in our town, and we love to shop there for little things to add to our home.

Been getting some good finds every time we go there. Until today, I still love the Missoni throw that we got from there in 2009.

These days, I love HomeSense Blog, it is very inspiring, it is my 'feel good' blog at the moment!

Work from home...

I am a stay-at-home mom. I have got two young children, and just because of the high childcare costs, I am left with no other choice but to take a career pause. For me, I think it is such a big change to give up my full time job and stay at home to look after my two young children.

I am looking around for some online jobs that I could do just to make myself feel like I can be a work-from-home mom! I have just enrolled myself to Amazon Associate programmes. I hope this will help to generate some 'pocket money' online through my blog. This is a trial and also a first step for me to feel 'work' other than housework!

So, if you think you kinda like browsing Amazon, or regularly make purchase through Amazon, feel free to click on the Amazon banners, or use the Amazon search engine, or to buy things by clicking through to the Amazon page.

You could be a millionaire tonight!

I do play lottery online, therefore I am a registered user of Lotto.

It is very convenient to play lottery online. I am not a weekly player, not very regular I would say, but, once in a while, when I feel 'inspired', I will just play some...who knows?

I receive emails from them every week, and most of the time I will just delete those emails. Today, this email caught my eye and its subject simply said 'you could be a millionaire tonight', oh! how I wish! It is the Euromillion rollover. OK, why not, go on then, let's give it a try. It is only £2 for each play.

Let's hope I will become a millionaire tonight!

UNSUBSCRIBE

Getting lots of junk mails in my inbox recently. Some are useful, but some are totally irrelevant to me, and all I do is click the 'unsubscribe' button.

I do actually read some of the junk mails, mostly promo emails selling things, but there are some really good ones such as offering tips on how to save energy. The purpose of the mail is of course, asking you to switch energy supplier for cheaper ones. I am sourcing, and definitely time for me to switch, the energy bills are increasing and sometimes I think it is rather ridiculous!

Inflation...

I can cook!

These days, as I am looking after a baby and a toddler all by myself, I hardly have time to do proper cooking regularly.

I love cooking and enjoy cooking for friends and family. Sometimes, when Sugar is around, he will help me with the childcare while I stay in the kitchen to prepare delicious meals. I really enjoy my time in the kitchen, from food preparation till the washing up of dishes. I love every bit of it. I have never imagined that I have become so in love with my kitchen!

I cooked some Malaysian style Pan Mee today. I can easily get those flat noodles from Tesco these days. I cooked the dry ones, oh, so yummy that I forgot to take pictures!

Rasa Malaysia is my favourite online recipe finder. It has lots of my favourite dishes, and mouth watering pictures. Love good food photographs on the site too. I am sure those dishes taste as good as they look!

I shop online to save time!

These days, I love shopping online to save time. It is so easy and safe. Most importantly, it saves time.

To date, I have shopped for baby products, computer peripherals, some skincare products, and I have yet to try grocery shopping online. I have read in some forums that online grocery shopping is easy too.

As we live so close to Tesco, grocery shopping is my way of motivation to walk to the park and to get some fresh air! A bit of exercise, at least!

Favourite place to shop online is Amazon.

"I did it with a photobook"

A photobook is the modern way to organise photos.

I have created a few photobooks in the past, and I kinda love them. However, it is quite a long process and can get quite tiring.

This time, I use BootsPhoto to create a photobook. It is easy to use and the price is affordable too. Besides, I get to collect Boots Advantage Card points too. As a stay-at-home mum, I create photobook during my free time, and it has become one of my favourite pastimes these days. With just a click, I get to order the book and hassle free, it delivers to my door within a few days.

I have just created the first photobook for Jinc, and I plan to create a month-by-month series to document his growing-up moments. Now, I just can't wait for the book to arrive!
