Safari Park

We went to the safari park! It was the West Midlands Safari and Leisure Park, which was about 40 minutes drive from where we live. I would say, not a very long journey. We had so much fun and totally enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend it to friends as it is really a great place for family outings. Children will definitely love it!
Jinc loved to see all the animals. It was a very good experience for him to learn about animals. He had already known a few (tiger, lion, giraffe, monkey, hippo, rhino, zebra, horse, etc), now he can identify more animals, such as camel, peacock, chimpanzee, and lots more.
The safari park was not just animals. There was a family theme park too. We did not go on any of the rides as the kids were still too young. We had a great time walking and watching the others play.
Oh yes, the tickets to the safari park can be used twice. We would probably go again before the summer ends!

Kuala Lumpur...
Still in Kuala Lumpur, and not much time to post on my blog. Also, very limited excess to broadband due to my stay at mom in law's.
We are not returning until two weeks time, due to some personal matter.
So, we have five weeks holiday instead of three, and hope Sugar won't lose his job!
I am so enjoying MY holiday!
It's hot, hot, hot, in Kuala Lumpur!

Still packing..?
Flying off to Kuala Lumpur in a few hours time, early in the morning! Very excited and I just could not sleep!
Will do a short post, because I am still not done with the packing, oh dear!
Still so many things to bring and I am hoping that we will not exceed the baggage weight allowance. We only have 80kg for the four of us!
We have two large size (30 inches) suitcases, two cabin size (19 inches) suitcases, one large LV luggage, and finally, two hand-carry holdalls.
I am sure we will exceed the weight allowance, and let's see how the airport staff let us through this time!
We are using American Tourister suitcases. I thought there are some really good bargains for Samsonite too,

Packing for holiday...
Done with the things-to-bring check list, but not the packing.
I just do not know where to start.
Can't wait to go to the airport!!! Wondering how would Lily May behave on the plane?

Getting ready for holiday!
We will be going to Kuala Lumpur for our three weeks holiday!
Cant wait to see our family back home!
I am going to do a check list for things to bring...it is not easy to travel with two young children. I am sure I will enjoy the packing process, and I am also very sure that I will forget to bring something (even to have a check list)!!

Home, faraway

We are going home to Malaysian in March, to celebrate my brother's wedding!
Also, one good reason for a holiday abroad. It is going to be our very first family holiday with two young children. Very looking forward to it.
It will take us at least fourteen hours to reach home by an aeroplane. Too far, and I wish, one day I could live closer to my family, and closer to home, fourteen-minutes-drive will sound ideal!

Worcester Woods Country Park

It was our first time to the Worcester Woods Country Park. A friend, Helen suggested that we bring our two kids there, and she could bring her twin buggy so that Lily-May could enjoy the great outdoor in the buggy. Helen is a mom of two too, her son Edward, who is three and Annie who is ten months old enjoy going to the park!
The country park is very close to our home, less than five minutes drive. It is a very baby friendly park. Car park is free. It has a play park for younger children, and another one for older children.
Weather was lovely. We had a great time playing in the park, and had a good walk in the woods. Lily-May was fast asleep in the buggy when we were in the woods. Jinc enjoyed himself too! Later, we went to the cafe for some snacks. There is a little play area in the cafe too.

Weston-Super-Mare
Summer has almost come to an end... as the cold weather approaches, we took the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor (sunshine) as much as possible!
We went to Weston-Super-Mare, it is the nearest beach available to where we live!

So, spent the day strolling around and having fun with the kids. Had some fish and chips, which tasted so bad! Jinc enjoyed so much, and during our journey back, he slept soundly in the car!
It was, overall a very nice day-out, sunshine, yes, but it was a bit chilly and very windy. I enjoyed myself too. I love it that I carried Lilymay in my Baby Bjorn baby carrier.
It was so comfy and so 'stylish' on me. It helped to hide my post-baby body, hehe! I am still not losing the baby weight :(
I am using BabyBjorn Original Classic. It is available online, get yours now with just a click away!Wednesday, 29 June 2011
In The Night Garden LIVE
We are taking Jinc to go see In The Night Garden Live. He absolutely loves the show, and the LIVE show happens to be around the town near to where we live. We bought premium tickets and make sure we get to sit as close to the stage as possible.
We will have to leave Lilymay to the nanny... :(
Jinc is very excited when I mentioned to him that we are going to meet Iggle Piggle! He will dance his way to the telly and he is so cute. I could see that he is feeling all excited and I am sure he will enjoy the live show!

Sorted..
We have just sorted out our flight tickets to Kuala Lumpur on November. It is going to be exciting!
It will be Jinc's very first long haul flight.
I am so going to browse the internet to find out about tips on traveling with a baby by plane. Hope things go well for us.
As Jinc is under two years old, his ticket just costs £67. Brilliant!

Our 1st summer short trip...

Jinc is such a lucky baby. He goes to places with us before he is 6 months old!He loves it, he is absolute darling during all the trips. No grumpiness, and he is perfectly happy and comfortable to get out and about with us. We plan to bring him to fly long haul with us in November to Kuala Lumpur. He will be about 9month then. I am sure he will love it!
As my mum and sis are here for a visit, we have been going to lots of places, mainly to tourist attractions. We went to London by train, just a one-day trip. That was Jinc's very first trip by train, and he also got a taste of the London Underground. He slept soundly throughout the train ride though!
We also visited Bath on another week, what a beautiful place. From Bath, we drove for another hour to Stonehenge. It was a fun trip, we took lots of touristy pictures and I am sure, Jinc would not remember a bit. So, we have the pictures taken so that I can show him when he gets older. Those pics are for our family album, too precious and those pictures will last a life time of memory!

Well, that kinda sums up our summer trip for this year. With a baby on tow, I still think we do brilliantly well as new parents. I would love to travel more with Jinc and I even start to plan for next year summer. I know what we are going to do next year with a one year old!

We are at Ibiza!!

Such an awesome holiday.
Clubbing, sun bathing, sunset, sight seeing and good food. Lots of TLC from the husband and I am still not getting any morning sickness, and I hope this is totally fine.
I got tired easily with too much of walking, and I even feel tired very easily on the dance floor.
Nevertheless, this is the best holiday that I have ever had, with the husband and the little B inside my womb!

Mummy, Daddy and little B to Ibiza.
We are flying off to Ibiza tomorrow. The holiday is booked in early June before we discovered that we are expecting. A holiday to Ibiza is meant to be a romantic getaway for the both of us, or in another words, a chance for us both to spend some quality time together.
It is very exciting to know that I am taking the flight with the little B inside me. I pray hard, there will be no morning sickness or whatever sickness to ruin our summer holiday!
I have also checked with my GP that it is alright to take a flight. It is only a two-hour flight. I am kinda worry about the swine flu but my GP assured me that to carry on as normal and it is nothing to be worried about.

I am going to stock up lots of anti bacteria wipes to put in my hand bag and I guess I will use that a lot.
Packing for holiday is fun and I love it. I also have a checklist to make sure that I do not leave anything behind. I am bringing two sets of bikinis, and it is such a relief to know that the bump is not showing until I am at my 12 weeks. So, it is ok to wear my bikini and hide the news away.
