Can't live without a good hand cream in winter, and this is, so far the best hand cream I have ever used!
The result is visible within minutes of applying the cream.
It is a staple in my handbag when I am out and about too!

Toilet seat trainer
Jinc is two and a half years old now, and not fully toilet trained yet. I taught him to use the toilet when he was about 20months old. I have got a white padded toilet seat trainer given by a friend when Jinc was only six months old. I started to let Jinc sit on the toilet seat trainer to poo when he was about eighteen months old. He was fine with it, just that he did not know when to tell me when he needed the toilet. So, I always had a routine for him to sit on the toilet seat trainer. Sometimes he would use it successfully, but sometimes not!
When he was about twenty two months old, he had already fully understand the use of toilet to do his 'big business'. At that time, he had started to talk, in single word, and he knew how to tell me when he needed the toilet. It was so natural for him to sit on the toilet bowl by using his toilet seat trainer. Big success, I would say, as I did not need to do his dirty bum any more when he had a poo. Save me all the hassle and the wet baby wipes too! Oh I am so happy! I would say, toilet seat trainer is such a great invention, it makes a mom's life so much easier, and it really helps the kid to learn to use the toilet. The very first padded toilet seat trainer that we have is a bit worn out now, and it is time for me to get him a new one.
So, Amazon is the place to shop for baby stuff, and it is not always in Mothercare that you can get the best products!Received the Cars 2 toilet seat trainer today and I did not expect it to arrive so soon!
The padding is very comfy and the size is just right on our toilet bowl. Best of all, it is full of Jinc's favourite Cars2 characters. I am so happy with this purchase, as it costs less than £10!! Jinc is happy with his new toilet seat and he had tried to use it the first hour when we received it in the post! He told me he loved the seat so much, and when I asked him, whether he loved the seat more, or he loved mummy more, he said he loved mummy more! What a cheeky boy, he is! That made my day!

Gadget for housewife!
This mini chopper is such a useful tool in my kitchen. Bought it from Argos two days ago and have been using it everyday. Saves me lots of time from chopping. It is very easy to use and easy to clean! Wonder why I did not get a chopper earlier. It makes cooking so much easier and so much fun.

I love points!

Pic shown a cute cuddly little bean puppy. It comes in a nice blue bag too. Got it by collecting points on the packaging of Andrex toilet rolls. We have been using Andrex for quite some time, and it is such a bonus to get this sort of rewards by collecting points.
I love collecting points in exchange for free promotional items. Over the years, I had participated in many loyalty point programmes and got myself items such as coffee mugs, eco bags, note pads, bowls, spoons, milk jar, and many more!
Points collecting can get quite addictive, especially there are nice little items that are not available for purchase!

Animal biscuits
I love M&S!
I shop in M&S regularly, mainly for food and kids clothing. I love their snacks, tasty and healthy, or rather, they are healthier compared to other supermarket brands.
Recently, both Jinc and Lily May love animal biscuits from M&S. We would play 'find the animal' while snacking on this. So much fun, we eat and learn!

InThe Night Garden Live 2012
This year, we are going to see In The Night Garden Live again. The good news is, they have it in Birmingham, on September. So, we are going as a family of four.
We went to see it for the first time last year. It was fantastic, Jinc was so happy and he screamed when he saw Iggle Piggle! This year, we are bringing Lily May as she loves Upsy Daisy and Makka Pakka!
I just can't wait!!

Rock N Rolla Cow!
Ride on it for a few more rounds before going to bed!! (..and he thought he looked cool with a cap on but in his pajamas, oh dear! He put the cap on himself and wanted me to take a picture, how cheeky!)Jinc's favourite ride-on toy for the moment, the Rock N' Rolla cow. It is a Christmas present for Lily May from Sugar's colleagues. But Lily May is still too young to play with it. Its wheels can be taken off, and the cow will become a rocking cow instead.
Jinc prefers it with the wheelie way, and he could just wheel around our lounge in the 'fast n' furious' style!! It looks quite funny when he is speeding by just holding the tiny cow's ears!
Check out Amazon for more Rock N Rolla toys:

Pourty Potty

We just bought a blue potty for Jinc, it is called Pourty Potty.
We think it is almost time to start to potty train him, as he is twenty months old. Some said it is still too early to start potty train, well, I guess it all depends on the child. I would think Jinc might not be 100% ready, I just want him to get the idea, and having a potty will teach him the very basic idea of its uses.
Let's see how it goes, i know, this can be one of the difficult tasks for me, as I have got a 5-month old too, and we live in a house that it only has one toilet, which is on the first floor... I could foresee myself running up and down the staircase hundreds of time when Jinc starts to use the loo!!! So, for the moment, a potty will sit in one of the corner in our sitting room. hope Jinc finds it handy!
This is going to be challenging, and I hope it goes well as this is a big milestone for Jinc. He is growing up as a little young man!

Best disposable breastpads ever!

This is a godsend!
I have tried some other brands, and none of the brand is as good as this. Some are not sticking well, some will leak and some give me itchy skin...
With this, it is absolutely brilliant. It is very comfy, and it is leak proof. I highly recommend this to breastfeeding moms. It can be a bit more expensive than other brands, but it is all worth it.
That is why, I am the type of mom that who does not mind paying a bit more for premium products.
You can easily get it online from Amazon...

Photobooking
I have been creating photobooks for Lilymay for the past few weeks. I have been doing that for Jinc and now, I am so busy, I have got two children and I am creating more photobooks for the both of them.
I really enjoy doing it. I enjoy taking their pictures and instead of printing those photos, a photobook is more practical for me.
Received the photobook in the post the other day. The picture quality was not as good as before. I don't think so I will order from Bootsphoto again. The reason that I still use Bootsphoto is because I have bought the credits for photobooks a year ago. No choice, I will have to use up all the credits. Will create and purchase photobooks from another site instead.

What a god send!!!

Jinc is very mobile these days. He is attempting to climb up the staircase but we used his buggy to block it. He would then tried to push the buggy away, he is very strong.
To be better safe than sorry, we decided to fix a safety gate. So I have been looking around on the website and reading reviews. In the end, we bought the Lindam Sure Shut Orto. Lindam is a very reliable brand when it comes to child safety products. It is reasonably priced, easy to fit ( pressure fit) with no drills and screws, which is brilliant for us. It it auto-shut too. It can be easily taken out when we decided to move to another house! Or it can be easily be refitted to another place in the house, eg, the hallway.
Now, we have got this safety gate, and I am sure Jinc is safe to play in the lounge, and he can only go up the staircase with me by his side. This Lindam stair gate is such a good product and I would recommend to anyone who wants to child proof his house.
For hassle free shopping, get it from Amazon with just a click,

A pool of bibs...
Baby bibs...Jinc has got so many, and he can wear a different one every day for one whole month without repeating the same design. Most of the bibs are gifts from friends and I only bought a set of 7pcs basic bibs from Mothercare, the rest come in handy...
Of all the bibs, I really like the extra-large ones without the velcro. They are from Matalan. I love its size which means I can double use it as a small cloth too. The round collar without velcro is so easy to slip on to Jinc and it is easy to take off too. For me, the velcro ones have got the zap-on noise which annoys my Jinc every time I take the bibs off. Of course, some from Marks & Spencers with button on the sides are really practical as well. Unfortunately, those are of newborn sizes and Jinc out grows them too very quickly. Of all the bibs, the set from Next has got the softest cotton and best designs...

Got milk?

I am trying to breastfeed bay Jinc as much as I could.
Unfortunately, he has got problem latching on properly, resulted a cracked nipple on my left breast. It hurts so much and I am tempted to quit breastfeeding! Sigh...
I am still not ready to give up, I guess.
I have booked the breastfeeding support worker to come round my house to teach me the correct position. Meanwhile, I am applying Lansinoh nipple cream to ease my pain. I am also hand-expressing breast milk to the bottle, I have no choice... I feel terribly upset with this. It seems, the more upset I get, the chances of successful breastfeeding is lower. So , I got to be strong and think positive!
3oz of breast milk (pic), and I am producing more...!!
A hungry baby makes an upset mum, so I want to feed my baby Jinc as much as he wants so that he is satisfied and stay happy!
Breastfeeding, should come natural and should not be stressful for new mum like me!

Lansinoh nipple cream is so useful. It helps to heal crack nipples and ease my nipple pain. It is so easy to use, and it is very effective. After a few applications, I could see that my nipple is healing and the best thing about Lansinoh nipple cream is that it need not be washed away whenever I am giving the breast to my baby. It is so convenient. It is a godsend!

The saviour of my dry lips...

Cold winter months...I have dry and chapped lips. My old lip balm does not seem to do a good job this time. I need a new product, to have fantastic result and won't burn my pocket! Today, I went to the local Boots and bought a lip butter. It is only £2.49!!!!! I tried it, I only applied it twice within 3 hours, and my lips are now so smooth and it tastes so good. It has the scent of dark chocolate and peppermint. For me, it smells just like After Eight! Yummy! I love it. It is really amazing and how can I not share this with all those who suffer dry and chapped lips?
I always love Palmer's cocoa butter products. I have been using cocoa butter for many years now, and with a growing baby bump, cocoa butter is such a pampering product. It smells so good on me, it also protects me from stretchmarks. I started using cocoa butter during my first trimester. Now, at 30 weeks and 5 days pregnant, I have not seen any marks, I have a baby smooth baby bump that I am so proud of, even my midwife is awed. May be it is my gradual weight gain, with the help of cocoa butter at least two times a day, I pray hard that I will not develop stretch mark throughout this pregnancy, high hope!
